A Chinese pale celadon jade, silver and turquoise and coral mounted snuff bottle, late 19th century, in Tibetan style, the stone of good even tone, 7.5cm

Provenance: purchased from Sotheby's for £110 in November 1976.

The stone is infact a white jade and is of excellent even tone, the silver gilt filigree work and stones are all in good condition, no restoration chips or cracks, the original silver gilt mounted turquoise stopper is stamped silver and the ivory spoon has been later inset into blue-tac.
