A Chinese rouge de fer and gilt 'dragon' dish, Guangxu six character mark and of the period (1875-1908), the interior painted with a pair of confronting five claw dragons chasing a flaming pearl, the outside border with two further five claw dragons chasing flaming pearls, iron red six character mark 'Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi', Diam.34cm, restoration to rim, with wobbly wood stand

There four areas of restoration to the rim where chips have probably been filled. One of these areas of restoration has a short hairline crack emanating from it and there are a few occasional other visible small chips to the rim otherwise in reasonable condition.
