A KCIE CSI MVO group of 8 medals to Sir Herbert Aubrey Francis Metcalfe (1883–1957) comprising The Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire Knights Commanders star and neck badge (KCIE), The Most Exulted Order of the Star of India Companions neck badge (CSI), Royal Victorian Order Members breast badge, India General Service medal with Afghanistan NWF 1919, Waziristan 1921-24 & North West Frontier 1930-31 clasps, Delhi Durbar 1911, Jubilee medal 1935 and Coronation medal 1937.

Sir Herbert Aubrey Francis Metcalfe KCIE CSI MVO (1883–1957) was an administrator in British India. He was commissioned into the Royal Munster Fusiliers in 1903 and joined the ICS in 1908. In 1917, he was commissioned a Temporary Lieutenant in the 5th Punjab Light Horse of the British Indian Army. In 1922, he was appointed Member Fourth Class of the Royal Victorian Order and was appointed a CIE in 1928 and a CSI in 1933. In 1936, Metcalfe was knighted with the KCIE. He served as Chief Commissioner of Balochistan from 1939 to 1943.[

CSI on a faded neck ribbon. Looks to have three tiny diamonds missing from the lettering.
MVO numbered 1096
IGS stamped 'H.A.F.MATCALFE.CIVIL DEPT' - note the mis-spelling of Metcalfe - a dent/rubbing over the F. Looks like it may have been restamped.
Breast badge showing some oxidisation to the silvering but otherwise in good original condition
Neck badge with cameo suspension loop has lost its gilding otherwise looks to be in good original condition
Enamelled floral neck badge in good order, one tiny amount of green enamel missing from the left side of the orb at the top of the crown
MVO with light wear to the gilding on the back
India medal with a bruise to the naming
Other medals with light oxidisation but otherwise in good condition.
