A Chinese bronze seated figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, 17th century, with tightly knotted hair, flower engraved robes, on a lotus throne, H. 32cm

There are typical casting imperfections to the figure including some pitting to the casting especially on the back of the figure, there are some losses to two fingers and the thumb on his left hand and to two petals on the front of his lotus throne, there is a small repair to a section of the foot on the right hand side, this is an old repair done some time ago, there is a dent to the back of his left shoulder and to the back of the plinth on which he sits, otherwise in reasonable condition.
