An English ironstone 'Japan' pattern dinner service, c.1815-20 each piece painted in Imari style with brocade work and floral segments, impressed mark 'PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA', 64 pieces including covers, Large tureens 33cm wide

There are four small canted rectangular tureens and covers, three are in reasonable condition and one has been very badly broken and very badly reglued together, there is a pedestal sauce tureen cover and stand, the cover has a shallow chip to the edge and the pedestal is slightly leaning to one side, there is square salad bowl which is heavily worn to the interior and has a firing crack to the edge, there are a pair of large canted rectangular tureens and covers, one has been extremely badly broken and extremely badly glued together, the second tureen and cover are heavily crazed with some staining and some slight wear to the decoration, there are five canted rectangular meat dishes, the 29cm meat dish has been broken and glued with some splintering to the edge, the 2nd 29cm meat dish has some wear to the enamels otherwise good, the deeper 37cm dish has been badly broken and badly re-glued, the meat dish which has a well to it measuring 46.5cm is heavily crazed, has heavy patches of wear to the enamel and has some large cracks going through it and then the larger platter has been broken in half, has been poorly re-glued and has a lot of wear to the enamel, there seven dinner plates which have quite heavy wear to the decoration, all the remaining plates are either badly cracked or badly broken and re-glued with wear to the decoration and some with chips.
