A good Japanese bronze elephant and tiger group, Meiji period signed Seiya saku,
modelled as two tigers attacking a trumpeting elephant, with ivory inset tasks, the tigers with inset glass eyes, the group with three colour patina, engraved three character signature to underside, on its original root wood stand,

Condition:
The bronze appears to be in good condition with the original pattern nation. The insert insert toss are made of Ivory but are slightly wobbly so they could be removed and replaced if you wish to have exported outside of the UK. The roof would stand has age cracks to it and one section upon which the elephant is resting it’s right front and rear legs is slightly wobbly, the stand would benefit from a dust and clean otherwise in good condition.
