A large Copeland parian figure group, Ino and the Infant Bacchus, after J.H. Foley, c.1851, impressed factory mark, with a separate shaped rectangular plinth, 59cm long in total

The group is in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks. The separate plinth, stamped 'Copeland' has some chip losses to the bottom edges of the corners and a crack to the centre of the bottom moulding on one side, plus some firing faults to the top on one corner . The ends of the plinth are moulded 'Great Exhibition of the Industry of all Nations 1851 Ino and Bacchus by J H Foley R.A.
