Note: Willy Huth and his wife Ruth were close friends of George and Marjorie Turner, the recipients of several of the artist's original postcards. George Turner worked for the British Military Government and the Foreign Office in Berlin from 1948 to 1963, first as head of the Public Relations and Information Service Control Office, then as Chief Press Officer and Senior Information Service Officer. The Huths are among the many visitors to sign the Turner Guest Book, also being offered in this sale, along with the following four lots of artworks by Huth
