Silhouette painted on paper which has an even beige tone with a few light scattered insect marks and some tiny fox marks, signed lower left, overall in fair to good condition, housed in the original maple frame with inner gilt slip which is slowing slight separations at the corners but again is essentially in good condition. A feint inscription verso across the top which is possibly the name of the sitter.
