William Ricketts (1898-1993). Two stoneware sculptures of aboriginal men and a boy, one decorated in relief with heads to each side, incised marks William Ricketts, the latter dated 1965, 19cm (7.5in.) & 24cm (9.5in.)

The double sided sculpture has a filler repair to a firing crack to the base which is the filler being slightly softer than the stoneware, this may have been done by Ricketts himself and there are a few scuffs and abrasions to some of the high areas of the portraits on each side, the oval shaped plaque has a very few minor scuffs and a slight fault to the stoneware to the lower right of the portrait, otherwise in reasonable condition with chips or cracks.
