Estimate £400-600

Both watercolours in good untouched condition, colours no doubt a little faded but still good, example with castle beside a lake is labelled Ross Castle, Lake of Killarney, the other labelled Cockermouth Castle, Cumberland, this example has a little light surface scratching across the bottom of the work but otherwise looks good, one or two tiny dirt specks, no sign of any foxing. Housed under glass in later gilt scroll frames which are in fair condition, old framers labels retained verso along with old inscribed labels.
