Oil on canvas relined 20 - 30 years ago or so, canvas remains tight, paint a little dirty, signed lower left, housed in a later giltwood frame with mirror borders to the left and right, the right hand panel being cracked, no labels or inscriptions verso.
This painting has previously been authenticated as by William McAlpine in various valuations over the years including one by Sothebys. The location depicted has also always been described as Hong Kong, although may be incorrect and perhaps it is a view along the China coast.
