Condition:
Oil on original canvas which remains tight, paint looks rather dirty and a little dried out with fine crackling running down from 12 o’clock and further craquelure scattered elsewhere. Signed lower right. Housed in a later gilt scroll frame which has some small losses. Back of the canvas has had inscriptions overpainted. Stretcher has label for P.Polak of Saint James’s.
