William Jones of London. A George III ebonised chiming and repeating bracket clock, with plain architectural case and arched Roman dial, inscribed Song / Minuet / Jig to the arch selector, the twin fusee movement with verge escapement and later clarion chiming on six bells, with bob pendulum. 29cm wide 17cm deep 52cm high

Condition:
Overall a little tatty and in need of some cosmetic attention, ormolu mounts all have a dull bronzed finish, front right one is repaired, they also look like they may be later applied replacements, front door has old cracks and splits around the top and no key for the lock, dial has had the scroll work, swags and selector hand for the clarion added later along with signs of old marking and repairs particularly near 11 o'clock, back case with old cracks to the left side of the door which has original lock and working key which also works the front door, movement looks associated to the case and has had the clarion added later, no doubt with other alterations, comes with associated winding key.
