Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, canvas is undulating and requires re-stretching, a little fine craquelure in the blue of the sky which has flaked above his head otherwise a little dirty and a few small scuff marks in the lower left corner, apparently unsigned, housed in the original gilt gesso frame which has been overpainted gold and suffers several losses.
