Viger à Paris. An early 19th century French ormolu mantel clock, surmounted with figures of a King and Roman soldier holding aloft a lamb, with signed enamelled dial and trophy base, on a marble plinth, with turned feet, signed eight day countwheel movement, width 28cm depth 14cm height 36cm

Condition:
Good untouched condition, gilding remains bright but is a little rubbed to the extremities, minor dirt marks to the dial, hands look original, minor tiny chipping around the edges of the marble plinth, back door slightly out of shape, silk suspension movement signed and numbered 1175, comes with pendulum and associated winding key, looks complete but not tested for timekeeping.
