Two small Japanese okimono, 19th / early 20th century, the first in stained ivory carved as a lady being surprised by an oni, three character signature to base, 5.1cm, losses, the second an okimono netsuke of a lady holding a gourd, in cocus wood and boxwood with silver and red lacquer inlay, engraved signature to a silver plaque, 5.8cm, replacement left hand

The lady and oni group has chip losses to the leaf on her head, The Oni's left leg on both her feet. The wood figure of a lady has a crude replacement left hand, otherwise good condition.
