Two similar Chinese enamelled biscuit figures of parrots, Kangxi period, each seated on pierced rockwork, remnants of cold painting to biscuit, H. 21cm and 21.5cm

One of the parrots has a curved hairline crack to its breast and possibly a small chip loss to the end of its beak. Both parrots have some occasional scratching and minor wear to the enamels. There are remnants of red pigment to the biscuit beaks and feet, otherwise in reasonable condition.
