Two William Moorcroft pansy pattern vases, c.1917, the first of tall ovoid form, the second of waisted cylindrical form, both with pale green and cobalt blue grounds, impressed marks Moorcroft Burslem England and shape numbers, green inscribed W Moorcroft marks, 27cm, latter vase repaired

The first vase of tall ovoid form has heavy crazing to the glaze all over with some salts from water leaching through. There is a small shallow chip to the foot.
The second of waisted cylindrical form has substantial damage and repair to the upper third of the vase with filler to the cracks on the interior. Heavy crazing all over.
