Two Samuel Alcock groups of a cat and dog playing, c.1840-50, the larger modelled as a cat pawing a poodle, impressed '239', the second a brown spotted dog confronting a black spotted cat at the top of steps, impressed '266', H. 9.2cm and 6.9cm, former restored

Larger model 239 group has restorations to the cracks front left leg and paw and the whole of its tail, there is a couple of halo marks to the glaze in the firing on the base, otherwise no other damage detected and the smaller group with cat and dog on steps appears to be in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks just a tiny firing crack to the underside of the base which does not come through to the top.
