Two Japanese ivory netsuke, 19th century, the first carved as a man recumbent upon a boat, engraved two character signature, 6.3cm, the second of a crouching oni upon clouds, engraved two character signature, 5.6cm

Netsuke of an oni has a number of age cracks to the ivory all over and a section of the clouds in front of the oni's head has been broken and reglued, the ivory is quite white.
Second netsuke of man on a boat has some fine age cracks to the ivory most visible on the deck on top and on the sides, otherwise in good condition.
