Two Japanese carved ivory necklaces, early 20th century, the first a bead necklace, each bead incised with the heads of lions and tigers, 35.5cm drop, each bead approx. 1.6cm diam, the second necklace with a teardrop pendant and circular discs carved in relief with lions and a section of beads, 23.5cm

The bead necklace has some age cracks to the ivory, the majority fine and short cracks, otherwise good condition.
