Two Chinese pale celadon jade bi discs, 18th/19th century, the first of a Song dynasty design of entwined chi-dragons, diameter 4.7cm, the second pierced with lion-dogs in profile and C scrolls, both with later removable silver brooch and paperclip mounts, one wood stand, 5.4cm,

First disc with entwined dragons is housed in an early 20th century metal hair or paperclip mount but is removable, on removing it can be seen that there are no chips or cracks and the stone has some natural inclusions but is generally of a good even tone. The second disc has a moveable centre and has been later mounted as a brooch, again the claw setting can be bent off and removed fairly easily and comes together with a wood stand which has a chip to it, the jade itself has some natural inclusions but is of a good even tone with no damage detected.
