Two Chinese ivory toggles, 18th/19th century, the first carved as an archaistic mythical beast, the second with a tree shrew amid fruiting vines, 4.9cm and 2.8cm

The toggle carved with a tree shrew amid fruiting vines has some fine age cracks to the ivory and some darker patina to the surface, the second carved as a mythical beast has some darker patina to areas, otherwise both in good condition with no chips or restoration.
