with architectural case mounted with busts and tapering flowers, the dial with subsidiary date and strike silent, twin fusee movement, with signed floral and fruit engraved backplate, striking on a bell and chiming on eight bells,

Condition:
Overall in honest condition but has suffered from some neglect, the top finial is now broken away and some sections of timber are missing, lower finials coming loose at the front, wear around the keyhole to the front door, no key present but door is not locked, dial looks original if a little dirty with chipping near the naming, the mount now dulled down, right hand side panel slightly pushed inwards, back door with original lock but no key, movement looks complete but not tested for timekeeping, pendulum possibly adapted as the retaining catch stands over the naming, bracket in good condition, comes with two winding keys. The movement has an anchor escapement. Please see Gorringes website for photos of missing sections of timber on the finial of the bell top, please ignore the piece of Blu-Tack holding in position!
