Condition:
Marginal stains etc. on titles and some plates, but generally clean; orig, publ. Edin., 1778 - there were several subsequent editions (and publishers) into and throughout the 19th century. Neither of these (Evans, gen. title and OT. tect; and Kelly, NT. title and text) being noted in Herbert. Extensive ms. noted on the Foot famiy (principally Kent and Sussex) on front blanks etc., and at end; includes one for Richard Foot (b.Sept.1852, 2 Jan 1853) ' On board the Pelican Watch vessel', Rye Harbour; possibly part of the Customs & Excise waterguard?
