Condition:
Two unexplained white patches of paint at shoulder of vase; impact blow to top right corner causing loss of paint, clearly visible in first image; canvas badly-stained at reverse side which seems to have caused matt areas to the painted still life; the dark, vertical streaks seen at reverse are unexplained stains, not tears; horizontal scuff across the tulips, outward from the centre, approx. 12cm, towards the edge where there are three scuffs causing loss to the paintwork.
