Ten glass slides of Egyptian mummy bandages, a bronze Phallus charm and a display box of three Egyptian faience amulets, the faience amulets in the form of Bes, Anubis and a scarab beetle, glass slides 10.5 x 8cm.
Provenance: A piece of linen on card and one of the glass slides inscribed found 1910 by J. E. Quibell.
The bronze winged phallus with label ‘from Pompeii purchased Naples 1868 by Sir Lauder Brunton, presented 3 September 1915.

Provenance - The private collection of a titled lady, apparently some other items from this collection of Egyptian artefacts appeared at auction in the last 10 years. Fragmentary pieces of fabric between laminated glass slides some of the paper surrounds coming apart.
