A glass mascot by René Lalique, introduced on 3/2/1928, No.1137 in clear and frosted glass with a slight amethyst tint, signed in relief LALIQUE FRANCE to the chest, on a contemporary Breves style chromed metal lighting display radiator mount and later wood socle, Marcilhac no.1137, p.499. Weiner p.35, height 21cm with mount, 29.5cm overall.

One air bubble and another few tiny bubbles but otherwise very good condition. Mount is not removeable WHICH MAY CONCEAL DAMAGE. COMB HAS SEEN SOME REPOLISHING.
Base is very similar to a Breves example but is not signed.
