A glass mascot by René Lalique, introduced on 3/2/1928, No.1136 clear and frosted glass with a slight brown tint, signed moulded in relief R.LALIQUE with FRANCE in slightly smaller block capitals along the side on the lower neck, on an original Breves Galleries lighting display mount Height overall 13.5cm.

Some light bruising to the back of the neck, a small bubble in the glass, signature is worn due to rubbing against the mount to the extent that R.Lalique is visible but France is almost worn away. Mount removes to show sveral large chips around the underside of the base.
Radiator mount is inscribed BREVES GALLERIES/KNIGHTSBRIDGE/S.W.3/PAT. APP then a hole has been drilled then 65/28
Mount has some wear and oxidisation to the finish.
