Canvas is slightly saggy and slight stretcher marks showing particularly at the top left, might benefit from a light clean. In a later blind fretwork giltwood frame which is in good order, overall should clean to good effect.
This work bears a signature Lala Deon Dayal and a town name below it Secunderbad, along with a monogram that appears to be TEL, in our opinion the work is probably based on a photograph from the Dayal Studio and may be by an artist who was connected to the studio.
