Archive of over 100 mostly small format privately taken photographs relating to the German Heinkel III "Boelke" Squadron of the Luftwaffe in the Spanish Civil War and WWII in Europe, i air to air photographs of He IIIs over Spain with both early German markings and in Spanish markings on their way to bomb Barcelona, bomber types of the "Condor Legion" on the ground, crashed aircraft and memorial services for the crews, American supplied fuel tanker captured from the "Reds", the "Condor Legion" leaving Spain, back in Germany 1939, air to ground views of Poland,, French aircraft destroyed on the ground, air to air and air to ground views on flight to England, and many more, mostly mounted on loose leaves inserted into a copy of the book "Die He III, Vom Verkehrsflugzeug zum Bomber, 1935-1945", by Newarra, Stuttgart 1979, with a dedication at the front and a typed letter from the originator of the photographs to the English friend to whom he gave them, together with translations of the hand written annotated notes accompanying the photographs.some of the photographs foxed
