Condition:
Oil on original canvas in good condition, a fairly shiny varnish over the paint. Slight stretch marks showing and a little fine Craquelure throughout. Signed and inscribed top right. Housed in an ornate overpainted gesso scroll frame with title plaque. Label verso for Harrods instructing picture to be varnished for a Miss Pitt of Pinner Middlesex. Provenance- vendors father thought to have bought it at auction some years ago.
