Seven horn, mother of pearl and lacquer objects of vertu, 18th - 20th century, comprising a gold mounted 'vernis Martin' étui, Paris 1750-1756, painted with putti among clouds and love birds, discharge of Julien Berthe, with a label typescript 'best wishes from Queen Mary' (torn); another gold mounted étui, French c.1900, painted in green camaieu with putti among love birds holding garlands of flowers; an oval silver and horn snuff box, John Obrisset, London, c.1700-1720, the lid carved with monogram A; another Dutch, 20th century, of cartouche form, carved with a shepherdess; a silver and translucent agate snuff box, German, late 19th century, of cartouche form, prestige mark and a lacquer and tortoiseshell snuff box, of navette form, painted with Commedia Dell'Arte figures, largest 5 1/8in.

Obrisset box in good condition, mother of pearl lid is made from an uneven piece of shell and there is slight wear to the engraved A, possibly replacement steel pins to the upper half of the hinge which have oxidised, otherwise looks to be in very good order.
Cartouche shaped box with agate lid has slight bruise within the agate to the left hand side, otherwise light wear and tear to the silver but overall fair to good order
Box with horn lid decorated with a pipe smoker, some oxidisation to an old soldered repair to the hinge but otherwise good
Cartouche box carved with mother of pearl with a lady holding a basket with slight wear to metal work but otherwise good.
Cylindrical case decorated with putti in very good order, slight rubbing to base
Other smaller cylindrical case with putti in colour with some wear to the decoration, notably one patch near the cherubs heads
Navette shaped snuff box with a number of small scattered surface chips and other light wear to the decoration where it has rubbed through the lacquering, small section of the lid rim is missing.
