A Samson of Paris group, late 19th century, depicting a courting couple and attendant with a seated figure of Cupid looking onward, scrollwork base, underglazed blue crossed swords and S mark, 23.5cm

There are losses to the tips of three fingers of the seated figure of Cupid and to the object in the hand of the hand maiden, some burnt orange / brown areas to the glaze around the foot and to the biscuit foot, otherwise in good condition with no restoration.
