Estimate £1,800-2,600

The domed top to the hood looks like it is a later replacement, the frieze panel also looks later so the hood may well have seen some reconstruction, a section of veneer has been replaced at 9 o'clock to the hood door, dial looks to be in good clean restored condition, trunk door has had some small replacements to the moulded edging, left hand side of the case is more faded than the right hand side, overall the colour is good, box base has been reconstructed in what looks like an elm veneer, certainly not matching the mulberry finish to the trunk and front of the hood, movement looks complete and in good clean condition, overall this clock looks to have been restored within the past 10 to 20 years or so and remains in good restored condition, there is a brass faced lead pendulum and two brass cased weights along with a crank handled winding key, case is of good colour and good state of polish.
