Condition:
Publisher’s original black cloth clean and well preserved, with the impressed diamond pattern and silver diamond device to the upper board, and silver lettering and publisher’s device to the spine remaining bright. Contents generally clean, with some light toning and occasional minor marks; some offsetting to the rear endpaper. In the original dust jacket, retaining the 12s. 6d. net price; jacket with some toning and light signs of handling and surface wear, particularly to the pale areas and flaps, but presenting well overall. Small area of expert restoration to folds on dust wrapper with no loss. The volume is additionally preserved in a custom-made leather clam-shell box.
