Condition:
Overall with a slightly faded reddish brown mahogany tone, some old stains and minor dents and scuffs to the top. Side drawer to the right has breakage at the top where perhaps it has been forced open internally there is a sliding cover to the top and an old patent brass and glass inkwell. Left side drawer is vacant. Recesses to each side look as if they were specifically made to house a large book. Large uppercase stamp to the front ‘ CO COM P’ with WR cypher to the right above the recess. Stamp to the right of the recess is a little rubbed but still legible, some scuffing around the plinth foot.
