Robert Williamson of London. A William & Mary walnut and marquetry eight day longcase clock, the 11 inch square brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, four pillar two train movement striking on a bell, 6ft 9in.

Overall in good condition, appearing to have been restored in the past 20 - 30 years or so, case of a good rich dark colour, marquetry panels all good, some veneer splitting to the sides of the hood with the square caps to the columns broken around the top, extreme top of the hood looks to have been rebuilt, dial in good restored condition, very clean appearing to have been renovated recently, sign of an old horizontal repair to the marquetry veneer running approx 2 inches down from the top of the trunk door, key present for that door, comes with a winder, brass pendulum and unmatched brass weight, seatboard to the movement has been raised up approx. 0.5 inch perhaps suggesting the movement and case did not start life together, however if this is the case they are a very good match.
