Oil on canvas in honest original untouched condition, not relined or repaired, canvas remains tight, paint looks very dirty with nicotine stains and other dirt marking, some broad but stable craquelure showing in the paint along the banks of the river and beneath the trees on the left, no other flaws noted, signed lower left, housed in its original gilt gesso frame which is showing some cracking, no labels or inscriptions verso, comes for sale from a deceased estate.
