Oil on canvas in somewhat neglected condition, canvas has suffered a dent from the reverse which has pushed through and now needs steaming out or relining, paint is very dirty but other than the dent no real damage noted, signed and dated lower left, housed in the original tatty painted wood frame, labels verso for numerous exhibitions and galleries, Maurice Robinot of Paris, Society of Portrait Painters 1953, Brighton Art Gallery 1954 and a further 1953 Salon stamp.
