Oil on canvas in good untouched condition with no faults noted, housed in the original silvered wood frame, Royal Academy and Redfern Gallery labels verso. Provenance; Sotheby's July 2005. Painted in 2000, the artist had a special fondness for Hove having visited his grandparents there every summer during his childhood.
