It wasn't that long ago that Leroy stood just behind Domaine de la Romanee Conti in the secondary market pricing table; it's no reflection on the quality of the former that, in relative terms, it's slipped a little; but in fact, if one wants the best burgundy can offer without a DRC label, one probably need look no further. Fewer than 240 cases made in this modern benchmark vintage.
