Provenance; This painting was made in 1922. Purchased it from a sale of the goods from the estate of artist Graham Ovenden. Peter Nahum from the Leicester Galleries sold the painting to Graham Ovenden in 2006. Before it was in the possession of Leicester Galleries, it was in the artists studio. Oil on canvas relined within the past 10 years or so, canvas remains tight and paint looks to be in very good clean condition, under glass in probably the original silvered frame which has a few scuff marks.
