Condition:
Father - some water spotting, 6.7 x 5.4cm, damage to corners of vine pattern frame, later backing paper. Provenance: No further information known. Originally bought with Lot 182 and thought to be same family. Mother? in black - uneven background looking streaky in places otherwise good, 6.5 x 5.4cm, matching inner mount but differing suspension, tiny chip to top left corner, lacks backing. Army officer son? - faded, water spotting/paint loss, 6.8 x 5.4cm same inner mount but larger rose pattern frame, no backing. Son in blue - good, 6 x 5cm, plain inner mount, small acorn pattern frame, lacks backing. Son in black - streaky background, 7.1 x 5.7cm, different inner mount, rose pattern frame, lacks backing. Daughter in white - good, 6.6 x 5.3cm, same inner as father but vineous frame, remnant of trade label. Youngest son, good, 6.1 x 5cm, plain inner mount, small acorn frame, lacks backing..
