1861 - sl.wear head of spine and lt. rubbing vol. and s/case, bottom of s/case adrift (but preserved loose) title opening cracked down central gutter (though hardly any discernible loss); 1863 sm. piece missing head of spine and sm. piece worn top edge of covers. nb.1861 - the 'finger size' issue (Welsh 4676); 1863 (Welsh 4678); the 'finger' issues did not have a London view (Bondy p.41)
