'Winnie’: Provenance: Alice Dundas, gift inscribed to in ink on initial blanks or half titles of all first four volumes, browning to f/free e/papers, textblock sl. cracked at p.144 and p.80, toning, gilt faded, spine ends worn, cloth with several wrinkles; ‘Pooh Corner’: f/free e/papers nearly detached, lacking initial blank, textblock cracked at p.178, cloth and gilt faded, hinges weakened, worn; ‘Now We Are Six’: browning and offsetting to half title and last leaf, toning, extremities rubbed, sl. fading to covers; ‘When We Were Very Young’: hinges cracked, toning, occasional f/mark, gilt and cloth faded, extremities heavily rubbed; ‘Now We Are Six’, sl. toned o/wise internally clean and cloth bright, unclipped dust-jacket, minor marks to lower panel; ‘Black Mingo’: toning, occasional crease and fingermark, rebacked and e/ps replaced.
