This is a combination of watercolour with gum arabic, ink and gouache, also some cut gilt paper forming the inscribed border, fine crackling and raising of the paint where the gum arabic has been used showing particularly through the red and dark green areas, apparently unsigned, does have the appearance of being a work made to be ised as an illustration, label verso for Jeremy Cooper Ltd Decorative Arts of London, also old Sotheby's auction labels from 26/2/03
