Marcel Bouraine. An Art Deco patinated bronze figure of a dancer, modelled poised on one leg and balancing a ball on the back of each hand, raised on a black marble plinth, signed 'M. Bouraine' and stamped 'Bronze', height 19.25in.

There is some loss of patination to the balls, some base metal is visible in places, the patination is a little uneven, the base is dirty and with some small chips to the extremities. Signature inscribed on the thigh along with BRONZE, thought to be an edition designed by Bouraine but perhaps not made by the sculptor.
