Portrait of a midshipman wearing a ring through his nose
6.75 x 5.5in.
Estimate £100-200
Oil on an old wooden panel which is slightly curving inwards on the right hand side, paint looks to have been cleaned within the past few years, no sign of any signature, one or two tiny white specks showing where paint has flaked away but overall the paint surface is good and stable, housed in a later giltwood frame which is in good clean condition.
